Fantastic camera. Battery life is good enough for most people's riding distance/time. The flashing light is perfectly bright enough for use in the daytime and obviously at night too.

Used it for about 10 rides so far. Performs as advertised. Wish battery lasted just a bit longer. But good value, video has good quality, comparable to the FLY12. Attaching strap is a bit dingy (flakes), buckle snapped (strap pack promptly replaced under warranty).

Gen 3 seems to be similar to previous generations. The silicone case however is not as effective as hoped as the two glass lens protectors come out every evening when removing the silicone case for charging purposes. As previously mentioned in other feedback, the cycliq products seem not to be aimed at cyclists who commute and therefore use the product EVERY day.

Rubber sleeve to cover connections is ok. I like the hard cover style on the fly12. Add on Silicone jacket is hopefully good enough to keep any water out.

I own SEVEN of the Cycliq devices. I feel that they are equal to having insurance. When I got hit by a car I felt relief that I had my camera on. I knew that it wasn’t going to be my word against theirs. I tell all my friend to get a Cycliq camera on the front and back of their bikes. So the reason why I own seven of these devices is because they don’t last very long. After about a year the battery becomes an issue or it stops turning on. I’ve tied to get it fixed by the company but they give you the run around through trouble shooting that doesn’t work. I just wait for another sale and get the camera I need. The other flaw is with the ON/OFF button. You can’t feel the button with gloves on. You can’t tell if you’ve actually turned the camera on and the button push takes to much time. Much of the time I am riding and I remember I need to turn my camera on. I shouldn’t have to stop and hold the button the appropriate amount of time. I need to be able to push the button and feel that the button has turned on the device.

It's a very good camera and the faster speed is good for capturing moving vehicles, easy to use, and I'm generally happy with my purchase. However, the only negative I have is the lack of a steadicam lens. I ride a stiff Pinarello so the bumps on my road routes (good roads) creates a very shaky video. I wish there was a way to create some balance for managing the bumps.

Bought this to replace my Gen 2 Fly6 after the power switch failed. I took advantage of the bundle offer including the silicone case. This seems OK but every time I remove the case to charge the light the protective screens fall out. I can see them getting lost soon. I have only recharged the light a couple of times so far but the battery life doesn't seem as good as the previous version. Apart from that, all good.
