“With only the 2nd use I was abused by a bunch of teenagers in a new Toyota Corolla but the number plate can’t be seen clearly enough, so the footage is useless, the camera battery lasted for 2 hrs 30 mins approx, this is so much worse than the last Fly 6 I bought 5 years ago. Very very disappointed,”
“Hi, been using your products since 2017. Some minor flaws in earlier editions and were handled accordingly. I now have the Gen 3 64GB, so far. OK, pros: clearer videos, and great clarity, lightweight and efficient, new side charging port. Cons: short battery life compared to previous gens. Wishing it had a longer battery life. Older one was a gen 3 and after getting caught in the rain, no bueno, I am definitely being very careful yet I did get a discount on a replacement. So far , so good. Just wish the battery life was a bit longer.”
“This is my second purchase of this model. I have loved the camera, but disappointed with the battery life as it decreased after 12 months of use from 4hrs to just over 3 hrs of battery life. Otherwise, it's a great product.”
“Happy with the quality of the footage although image stabilisation would be nice to bring it up to the level of the Fly12 Sport.
I'm interested to see how things will hold up over winter - the device is already showing signs of wear from daily use in the rain and dirt. I'd be suprised if I get a year of solid commuting out of it but we'll see.
Also the strap mounting system is complete junk and makes the whole set up look cheap. I've replaced it with a custom 3D printed mount and it looks much tidier.”
“On my first ride with my new fly6, the camera came off the mount, luckily I did use the safety strap. It was locked into the mount but it is not very secure.
I would recommend a better method to attach the fly6 to the bike mount.”
“Battery life is shorter than 12 so get home with front film and no rear video. However the resolution is excellent and small size is great. Again dislike the proprietary 1/8th turn mount with 4 road bikes swapping mounts is a bore”
