“Better and smaller than my first generation Fly6. I particularly appreciate the USB3 charging connector. It WAS difficult to turn the Fly6 into position. I was afraid it might break, but didn't.”
“Great product but the battery life seems to be shorter that the older version :(
Charges super fast but does not last as long. Not great for long rides”
“Very good device. Recommend using it as a camera only, as I like to have a permanent red light. The battery will only last 3 hours if using both the camera and permanent red light.
The camera works well in the daylight and can read vehicle numbers plates. During poor light (dusk/dawn) the camera quality is significantly reduced and makes it nearly impossible to read number plates on vehicles, whilst moving.”
“The camera and recording quality plus the battery life are far superior to the GoPro 8 that I have. In addition the format of the micro SD that came with the camera is compatible with my PC out of the box. I prefer using this camera from cycling over the GoPro.”
“With the way that some/many car drivers see cyclists in Australia and as a result so many near misses it is good to have a product that is able to record these when/if they happen. I certainly have a very near miss that if the Taxi had run into me the record would have show that the taxi driver was at fault. Certainly Cycliq has had to upgrade its product over time but have done so and replaced without question when I need to get a replacement.”
“Owners manual has unstated assumptions which rely on an owner being very aware of technology concepts and installing the camera. The method for reviewing recorded video is very cumbersome and outdated by not using wifi and Bluetooth to smartphones and similar devices.”
