“I like it. It's nice that there are 2 levels of brightness & different light combinations. I did like the previous version that had 3 lights as opposed to this version that has just the one. It is smaller & lighter than the previous version. Frankly I'm hoping the next version will have the 3 lights again with combo variations of the lights.”
“My FLY 6 works great. CYCLIQ replaced my original FLY 6 GEN 3 because the battery would not charge. The trouble shooting provided was easy to follow. CYCLIQ replaced the FLY 6 hastily. The battery seems to last longer than the original one I purchased. I am a satisfied customer. Thanks, CYCLIQ Support.”
“A very good camera, with a very good lifetime of battery. I have the (old) fly 6, and a Fly 12, and it's a very great and an must have product when you ride !”
“This is my third Fly6. The latest seems to be the brightest.
The new unit is smaller, but I am thinking the jury is still out on the longevity of the battery.
With the smaller physical size of the unit, I suspect the battery may be smaller also.
I need to use it for another couple of weeks to get a better flavour of battery life.
The APP works well with the new Fly6 Gen 3,”
“A great product and easily captures number plates during the day. Updated charging port location/design is a positive (my Gen 2 Fly6 died from water ingress) but the smaller form of the new Gen 3 means a smaller battery, so a shorter run time than the older model. Fine for shorter rides or commuting, not so good on 100+km rides where I’ve had it go flat. Would definitely prefer the larger battery of the older model.”
“The Fly6 gen 3 is good, but I haven’t been able to generate a video. I’ve looked on YouTube to try to record and edit and haven’t found a video. The light works well. Just need to figure out the video.”
“Great now the charge port is no longer on the top. (water got into my last one hence the expensive replacement)
I would change the flash mode and give it the double flash of the previous model.
Even with the increase in cost from previous models I would still recommend both front and rear models in the hope that you never need them, but should evidence be needed they are invaluable.”
