I haven’t really used the footage because I haven’t been hit or anything yet. And I don’t h e a card reader - it would be nice to plug the camera into my computer and be able to find footage.

Good idea and pretty sleek product, but I have a couple of complaints. The batter life on the GEN 3 is significantly less than that of the GEN 2. It would be nice to have both options for long rides. Water ingress has killed two units despite having the rubber flaps firmly in place. Customer service has replaced the units both times, but it is annoying not to have the units for extended periods of time. It would be super useful for the unit to be able to send video to your phone like the GoPro units allowed. You could use it to position your camera and replay in the moment a close pass (to show police officers, for example) without having to go home and upload via a computer.

Like all the Cycliq rear lights, this one is long on promise and short on delivery. With 1080p video selected and Organic flash, the most I got was 3.5 hours of use before the beeping started to let me know the camera was off and the flash worked to "Get me home". I changed settings to 760 and shut the flash off to increase the recording time to 4 hours. Four hours is not worth the money. You have no flash! What a waste. They made the light smaller, when they could have easily kept the same size as the previous one, and increased battery power. Once again...DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY IF YOU NEED/WANT A LIGHT THAT LASTS LONGER THEN 4 HOURS!!! I tried to rate this as poorly as possible below, but it wouldn't let me give just 1 bar....typical!!

Clearly a faulty product. Water ingress commonly occurs. My third unit in less than 4 months.

Actually I lost my Fly6 Gen3 while riding. I think it came loose when I hit some bumps during riding. So I hope the there will some improvements on the mounting if the Fly6.

Encountered water ingress on my 1st ride during bad weather. Very disappointed for such a nice looking device but does not work as expected. I’ve should have heed online reviews. Still awaiting for replacement device to arrive. Hopefully, it can last more than a year for a pricey item.
