“Overall experience with Cycliq? Not the greatest.
Thought I was buying from a UK distributor, waited over 2 weeks for delivery to arrive from Hong Kong.
Had to wait up to 5 working days for a reply to my emails.
Cameras are great! if you can get to view the images, the supporting App is an absolute shocker! I cant view, edit, share or save any of the files using the mobile Android App. Had I known this I would not have spent £440 on 2 cameras. The workaround is to buy an OTG cable or card reader, however this solution will not enable you to use the Cycliq Apps editing features so forget the stability feature and the Strava & map overlays and you'll need to use a third party editing App.
Sad thing is that the camera images are great once you find away to view them. Currently waiting upto 5 working days to back from Cycliq support.

“I bought this new Fly 6 after the battery in my old one failed to hald charge, after about a decade of use. The new one doesn't strike me as an improvement. There are less LEDs, so less functional as a tail light, the attachment is the same stiff, awkward design as the fly 12. HATE IT!
Not happy Jan. Progress? I think not.”
“About after 2 hours the battery is empty, and that is terrible. I need both, the camera and the back light. But both together runs the battery dry in a very short time. Many of my 13.000 Strava followers have asked already about the quality of the Fly6 Gen 3. so far I do not recommend it, but I also do not blame this product.”
“Mixed review. I have owned most generations of these units (3 or 4) and this one, the gen 3, is perhaps the most compact and maybe the most advanced. it charges quickly and does what it should. the reason for the 3 ranking is they last about two years. I use mine for commuting and use it many times a week and on the weekend so it gets used...very used. so from what I have learned is about 2 years is the life expectancy of the unit, but I honestly hate riding without one i have been doing it for so long. I love the footage and look it on average on every 3rd ride or so. It captured the car that hit me and tons of other things you want to see, and some you do not want to see. I was contemplating a GoPro like i have on the front of the bike and that would work, but considering cost and the additional light etc. I came back and bought another fly6. Lastly, if the competition steps up, although Garmin has...sort of, my buying decision might be different when this one fails..”
