“I think this upgrade is great. The only weird thing is that the charging cover will pop open in the beginning of every ride for some reason, close it and it might open again and after closing will stay shut for the rest of the ride.”
“Amazing video quality and such a better battery life over the Garmin Varia! This is the rear camera to get hands down! Thank you so much for such a great device! Gives me assurance that if something were to happen on a ride, I would have evidence to show what truly happened! Thank you!”
“Picture quality is superb and the battery well outlasts my rides. I know this device won’t stop an accident but gives some peace of mind against the worsening level of contempt among drivers for cyclists. Every ride has some kind of incident and being able to capture this and do something about it if needed is real value. Customer service from Roger was second to none when deciding which unit to buy. Thanks guys”
“Its abit heavier than Fly6 but the battery life is much better. The design is still solid and selection is much simpler. The file transfer is awesome, fast and save time. The video stabilization is good but there is room for improvement including the video image quality.”
“I've owned every generation of the Fly6. This is by far the best. It has the two features I needed the most: long battery life (7hrs) and most importantly, video review. I once had to call law enforcement but was frustrated that I couldn't share the video when they arrived. The new app solves that problem. Other great features include the high res screen showing status, including batter level - very nice; and a solid hinged door instead of the rubber cover, to protect the memory card and charging port. It's a little heavier than the Gen 3, by approx 2.6oz or 76grams, and a little bulkier. But I prefer the sculptured shape of the Pro. The extra weight doesn't bother me. When weight counts in a race, I don't carry it. All other times, I do. A few extra grams don't matter. A little pricey but worth it for a little piece of mind.”
