“Having recently been in an accident "Hit and Run", fortunatley I was with friends who gave chase and blocked him and called the police. If it wasn't for them I wold have been left injured and out of pocket.
Purchased the Fly 6 Pro & Fly 12 Sport bundle as a result of my experience, while it wont protect me fromt stupid drivers it does give me some reassurance of evidence that I can use if the need arises. Within a week of owning the cameras I have already reported another driver which did a close call and uploaded to upride.cc.
The quality of the cameras footage is great, get close to 6-7 hours life with the organic flash. Are on the pricey side.”
“An improvement over the previous model. Clarity of vision plus ease of use. I had a conflict with my Android and the Fly6. This was quickly cleared up by Cycliq. It turned out the phone VPN was the problem. Excellent after sales service.”
“I have owned Cycliq products since they first became available. I have just upgraded my Fly6(v) for the Fly6 Pro and I am impressed with the design changes, ease of use and the new mounts. Great improvements that make it easier to operate and mount quickly and easily. The new quarter turn mount and option of a saddle mount is such an improvement over the original velcro strap - much more secure and so easy to put on and take off the bike when recharging. The light configuration is much improved and I love the new OLED screen, easy to read information and new controls. These upgrades have introduced useful improvements that benefit the end user and enhance what was always a great bike camera with light to an exceptional bike camera with light.”
“It does a good job of recording video and the lights are great but the price is high and it lacks any ability to be controlled by cycling computers. The lack of connectivity options for head units is extremely disappointing and accounts for the three star rating.”
“Love the New Fly6 Pro. Owning both Fly6 and Fly12 from first gen up to the latest and greatest. They both have never disapointed me. You cant beat a light/camera that last more then 3 hrs. recording. Great for long Fondo rides or just riding in general. Customer service top notch as well always replied back asap. They always try to make it right for the customer.”
“Excellent rear camera and light, fantastic image quality over the old model. Easy to transfer straight to my phone to view footage. It’s not cheap but the quality and peace of mind is worth it riding on the roads.”
