“I don't review often but this bag is my new favorite. I've tried a lot of different styles and brands but nothing beats dayowl. The outer material has a nice canvas feeling texture, the straps are nice and YOU CAN put a sternum strap on the shoulder straps but it has to be on the "adjustable strap" part after the padding. I tried adding some flair to it, me being a huge dead space fan I decided to iron-on some patches to make it seem like it's a legit bag that would've been from the game. All in all 10/10”
“I love everything about this backpack—the materials, the thoughtful compartments, the environmental considerations, the minimal design) but I had to send it back. Unfortunately for me, the position of the straps makes it slip off my shoulder when carrying by one strap, even with a light load.
Too bad. But I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone who carries with both straps.”
“I was looking for a new, more sleek and compact backpack to bring to and from work, and possibly take on my travels. I came across the Day Owl backpack(The Backpack) through a YouTube video and they looked nice. Not too 'tactical'. Not too many outside pockets, flaps, pouches, etc. So I ordered one.
Now that I've had my backpack for a couple of weeks I can say I am enjoying it very much. I like the construction, the color (Midnight Navy) and the overall quality.
If there was one thing I would change about this bag, having not used it for a long period yet, I would add more organizational features to the inside. More pockets and whatnot to keep things divided if I want. As of now, I'm using individual pouches to keep items sorted.
Another thing to keep in mind is the internal water bottle pouch. I love this feature as it keeps the bag sleek looking, but be mindful of this when you're considering this bag as it (obviously) eats into your internal storage area.”

“This is hands down one of the best Backpacks ever. It has enough pockets to be perfectly organized and is roomy enough for your daily needs, even if you need to go grocery shopping after work. If the backpack is very full and heavy the straps may not be the most comfortable but they are comfortable enough for daily use. The quality and craftsmanship is amazing. A teeny tiny let down may be that you have to clean or lint-roll it every now and then as the fabric seems to like lint. However I found my perfect backpack and I am sure I have this bag for years to come.”
