“I love my backpack. I have it in the navy blue color and think it looks terrific. It has an understated heritage look which I really enjoy.
It's also has enough compartments and organization without going overboard. This helps to keep the look sleek.
I mostly use it to pack extra layers, snacks and water bottles for myself and my wife when we're out and about. The capacity of the bag is just right for that and I can still throw in small items we might buy.
All in all I'm very happy with this bag as I had never been a back pack person before this because I never found one with the right mix of practicality and laid back styling.”
“The DayOwl delivered everything I was looking for in a backpack. The bag is large enough to contain all you need for a day at work but not so large that you look like a middle schooler doubled over. I love how minimal the design is and there are just enough pockets so I don't have to go searching for keys, phone or wallet. The hidden water bottle pocket can hold my Stanley 20 oz. water bottle as long as I pack it first.
My only gripe is that the straps cannot get tighter so the bag sits lower on my 5'4" frame. I walk close to a mile from the parking garage to my office and by the end of my walk, I can feel the weight of my laptop on my shoulders. I catch myself holding the straps myself to keep the bag higher... probably removing the confident professional look I was going for with it. Although I do appreciate how the lack of dangly straps adds to the sleekness of the bag.
I would buy another DayOwl bag again for sure but I may see if I can get the straps adjusted by a tailor or seamstress.”
