“This is a lovely backpack but it is a poor fit for me. I’m 5’4” and the back pack was too heavy (over 2 pounds), and the straps could not be tightened up enough for my small frame. It is a gorgeous color and very well made. The water bottle pocket fit my 25 oz bottle.”
Hey there! Sorry to hear you weren't 100% happy with the bag. We make the backpack a little heavier duty on purpose, mainly so it lasts longer. It's built to be tough, as we're big believers that durability is the first rule of sustainability.
Regarding straps-heard and understood. The length isn't for everybody. I've passed the feedback on to our product team and we'll see about figuring out a solution as we do our annual updates to all products!

“It's a great backpack! I have a lot of digital gear to carry and ordered this backpack to keep it all safe. The yellow is a great color and the whole thing feels really well made. I love the magnetic handle closure on top; a small detail that is genuinely useful for me.
I can comfortably fit my 16" Macbook pro, iPad pro, portable keyboard, mouse, cables & chargers, and sketchbooks with room to spare. I've also managed to stuff my Medium Wacom Intuos in there at the same time, but it's just an inch or so too big for the zippers so it's a stretch.
-1 star because • the straps are long if you're a smaller person. I have them tightened all the way and it still feels a bit low on my body when fully packed. • The main compartment doesn't have much organization/pockets, so larger stuff just kind of rattles around in there.”
