I've been using a real hiking backpack by a sporting goods company, and was wondering if the shoulder straps of the Day Owl would be as comfortable (since I have a damaged disc in lower back, so this is an issue). My wife bought me The Backpack for fashion and environmental purposes. And on those fronts, the bag is great and the brand seems great.
Where it falls very short is comfort. My 20-year-old JanSport feels better...
I like the other aspects of the pack, so I'm debating whether it's worth suffering vs creating more waste and buying a less environmental pack elsewhere.
I just wish the bag felt as good as it looks.
PS - I'm a 5'10", 170 lbs, I think average-sized person.
