I got mine as a birthday gift last January. I have used it since then, and it is truly the best backpack I've ever had. The shocking thing to me is how comfortable it feels on my shoulders and back, something I always have issues with when it comes to backpacks. Plus it's stylish, it has a beautiful rich color and it seems very well made. Best birthday gift ever!

I don't normally write reviews but I'm super impressed with this backpack! I loved that it arrived with no plastic packaging--huge plus! The backpack is beautifully constructed and exactly what I was looking for.

Wishing there were strap adjustments up top - it leans out and doesn't quite cling to the back shoulder region :( Also, the material lip overlapping the zippers sometimes gets in the way of a clean zip up (nooo). That may change overtime (I hope). As it is, it may be a weekly carry or for travel. Other than that, the material and minimal aesthetic is beautiful and I LOVE all of the pocket options.

Right so I'm pretty much in love with this bag: It's sturdy, functional, and aesthetically pleasing; it is both professional by its sleek design, yet casual through its waxed canvas material and the fact that it is, well, a backpack. Although I'm petite I was really gung-ho about the larger size, and so I purchased both to try them out. As it turned out, the small size was (thankfully and surprisingly) actually perfect for my needs: It can comfortably hold a laptop, water bottle, phone/keys/wallet, a book, and—the big kicker here—both toiletries and an extra day's worth of clothes. (I recently moved back home due to COVID, but still travel into the city every so often for both work and friends, and so having that extra wiggle room was what sold me; for others who don't sleep out frequently, that spare space could also be used for gym clothes, groceries, or, well, anything else.) I got mine in the moss green color, and it is as vibrant and true in real life as it is in the photo, but now I'm eyeing that jam red as well ... Oh! And the fact that the backpack is made from recyclable materials and is therefore sustainable, and that you're supporting a small business? Yeah, that (and everything else) is what makes it worth the price. Thank you, Day Owl!

I was excited that this backpack is friendly to the environment and I was looking for a hidden water bottle pocket. It fits a 15" laptop plus another tablet in the back pocket and as a person that carries a lot of things for very long work days, I feel the backpack is supporting the weight nicely. I purchased the Large version of the backpack and the main compartment is a bit small for me. I would love to have another slim compartment in the middle. When the main pocket is completely full, the front pocket barely fits anything and the water bottle won't fit. Overall I like it lot, It's a huge improvement from the backpack I had before.

Love this backpack. The one downside.. I wish I would’ve gotten the large.

I have quite a few bags, and I'm super particular about them and what function they serve. The Backpack covers my every day carry so well, it stole me away from messengers and I'm not looking back. Everything has a dedicated space, but it is still versatile in how you choose to configure that space.
