This bag, and have many from Bellroy to Waterfield to TAD Gear, is amazing - perfect for longer trips than your average EDC tool solves for. - materials and construction, with the exception of the edges inside the top pocket where the seams meet at the top corners of the bag inside, are absolutely superb.  - The material is especially amazing - abrasion and stain resistant, lightweight yet strong. The buckles and such are solid, string.  - compartmentalism is second to none; great means built in to organize all your complicated travel gear. And the liner is fantastic.  I deleted the backpack strips - nice if they could be tucked away instead. Replaced metal zipper pulls with 550 cord and pull tab finishes. Added two Fidlock clips to clip in/out quickly different payloads.  All that said, it is amazing right out of the box. Get it if you travel frequently!

I was really impressed by the quality and attention to detail put in to this backpack. It’s my first time trying this brand, but I think I’ve found my lifetime brand for backpacks! I tend to travel a lot during the summer and needed a replacement backpack for the one that finally busted after so many years. The Day Owl Backpack was a huge upgrade from the one I had! It’s small, making it great to take on buses and metros, it hold so many secrets in its pockets, and it comes with a waterproof material! I’ll finally be able to appreciate the rain and no longer worry about what I’m carrying! I highly recommend this backpack for the people who like a bit of adventure.

I’ve tried so many backpacks and this is by far my favorite. Looks great, comfortable to wear, convenient grab handles, and a pocket for everything including my very tall water bottle. Perfect.

Love the bag as far as organization. However the straps are too thin and feel like they are digging into my shoulders

I love this bag so far. It's well designed and is sneaky big. I'm able to pack a lot in (21 oz hydro flask, laptop, charger, journal, couple pens, sweater, lunch, kindle, phone, keys, ID badge, etc.) all at the same time, and the bag never looks bigger, awkward, or bulky.
