I really like the bag! The fabric is a really high-quality canvas material and has a premium feel, the tote handles feel really nice and sturdy. I didn't expect the bag to fit my 40oz Hydroflask in the water bottle compartment but it fits perfectly! The two sleeves on the inside are great because they don't hinder carrying things like clothes or other non-book-shaped items but have the ability to carry my journal and calculator for school. The side pocket and main pocket are great for carrying miscellaneous things. I'm also on the shorter end, only 5'4 and the nondangling backpack straps are amazing. If you're deciding for a backpack for multi-purpose whether it's school, EDC, or urban exploring, I'd definitely invest in one!

I'm a multi modal commuter (train, bike, and car, depending on the day) and The Backpack is my new daily backpack. Things I love about it include: * It fits everything great, including my laptop, kids' water bottles, change of clothes, emergency items, etc. * It's comfortable. I'm 5'2" and a lot of larger backpacks aren't super comfortable. But this keeps the laptop close to my back and feels great. * Cleans up well. I took it on an airplane trip and got black scuffs. To my delight, they wiped right off with a damp towel. * Great organization. I love the organization inside. They all fold flat if you want to use it as a single large pocket (e.g. with your own packing cubes) but are also great for if you just want to use your backpack. The few things that I kind of wished for: * A key ring inside or a pocket on the inside of the front flap, for things like keys and wallet. I ended up getting a carabineer and a clip and connecting it to one of the pen loops. But it's awkward for my phone. * My phone is a Pixel 5 (so not huge), and it doesn't really fit well on the side or on top (I also gave to keep a work badge and commuter card on top). I wish one of those pockets was bigger/wider. * My backpack is only half full most of the time. I wish there was a way (internally) to cinch it down. Although, I've only ever seen external cinching, which isn't a minimalist look. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the backpack.

I work on a college campus and am often trekking from building to building. I wanted a pack that was sustainably made and professional enough for work. The Owl pack is comfortable, roomy (without being too big) and has a fabulous array of pockets. I wish it came in burgundy or forest green, but I do like the grey just fine.

This bag is great! Definitely a little pricey, but compared to other laptop backpacks out there, this one is actually on the less expensive side (which is why I got it). It’s clearly very well made and durable; I’ve only had mine for a few weeks and it’s been great so far. Lots of convenient pockets and compartments, including a side zipper thing for water bottles which is super clutch (oftentimes I worry about my bottle falling out of other backpacks when it’s just in the side pouch). I also dont feel like a middle schooler when I walk around with it, which is a plus. I recommend if you have the capacity!

So awesome for working remotely and lugging all my equipment to coffee shops and whatnot. A dream of a bag for my laptop and can fit quite a bit of extras for a day/two!

It is a very nice backpack, but ultimately I returned it because I have a short torso and prefer a shorter backpack.
