“I'm so glad Day Owl is back! I bought a backpack in September 2021 and I use it almost daily. I just gave it a good scrub and clean yesterday, and it looks and functions just as well as the day I bought it. I'm amazed at how little wear it has after two years. (Note: scrubbing it and putting it in the wash will make it lose the waxy quality that makes the bag water-resistant. I prefer it to look clean and lose water resistance, so that's ok for me.)
Giving it 4 stars for two reasons: 1) As a plus-sized person, the straps only barely fit comfortably at full extension, and the buckle you use to extend falls at an uncomfortable part of my arms. I wish it were able to extend a little farther- even an extra 2 inches would be great. 2) after wearing it for more than an hour straight, my back begins to ache, which doesn't happen with sportier, more padded backpacks.”
“I absolutely love this bag. It is perfect for a carry on luggage piece with the strap for roll on suitcase. The top pocket is excellent for wallet and keys and the water bottle pocket is excellent.
