“I purchased this pen around early January and after about a week I noticed a crack from the base of the cap to the top of the cap. Since the cap DOES NOT sit on the pen while you are writing; the cap spent most of the time on my desk at work. I did receive the replacement which was worse. I literally just took the cap out of the mailing package and the cap had cracks all over the back and my name was spelled wrong. So, I went back to using the original cap, at least it only had one crack and my name was spelled correctly. While waiting on the replacement cap, I noticed a crack forming in the base. Giftpens sent another whole pen, base and cap. The base cracked while I was at work a few days later BUT the cap seems to be holding up... I have used TWO other wood engraving companies and I expected a certain level of quality! BUT it happens, next time I know to stick with the companies I am sure of! Giftpens did do their due diligence in responding and sending replacements but if the replacement is worse than the original the replacement is not really worth it.”
