“Have always used Super Sensitive Shield with no issues whatsoever with my sensitive reactive skin. It is no longer available so had to try this one. Only used twice and my neck is now swollen, fire engine red and extremely itchy!!!! I know from previous experience with products that this will take at least a week to settle which is really annoying. Please bring back Super Sensitive Shield as it is the only product (and I have a cupboard full of them) that doesn't not react with my facial and neck skin. So disappointed as I use all the Dermalogica products for sensitive skin with no problem.”

Because of the physical zinc aspect of the product, its slightly thicker than regular sunscreens, but spreads very well and doesn't leave a white cast! “When I first tried this product I wasn’t sure it was going to work for my skin because it seemed to highlight some dry patches on my face. However, I was really glad I gave it a chance and took a few days to use it consistently. After a few days it sat really beautifully under my makeup - no greasiness or oilyness (I have combination skin and everything usually turns oily by the end of the day). I applied the product after moisturizer and that seemed to work best. Definitely works way better than other sunscreens I’ve tried - with the bonus of not leaving any chalky white colour underneath!”
