Enhanced Protection Against Rodents and Wildlife
The Dine-A-Chook Large Chicken Feeder is crafted to keep feed contained and off the ground, significantly reducing the attraction for rodents and wildlife that can lead to feed contamination and increased pest presence in your coop.
Comparison to Other Feeder Types
Hanging Feeders: Often lead to feed spillage and are susceptible to contamination from the elements and pests.
Treadle Feeders: Contain moving parts that can fail over time, leading to necessary replacements and potential feed spoilage during rainy weather.
Unlike other feeders, the Dine-A-Chook feeder boasts a stationary design with no moving parts, requiring minimal maintenance and offering superior protection against the elements and pests.
Revolutionary Rain and Gutter System
Our exclusive rain hood and gutter system is the result of extensive development aimed at preventing feed from getting wet, irrespective of heavy rainfall. This system is particularly effective in the tropical rain conditions typical of Queensland, ensuring your feed remains dry and fresh.
Innovative Design for Maximum Efficiency
The unique silo-inspired structure of the Dine-A-Chook Feeder minimises feed waste by preventing chickens from scattering feed onto the ground. This design feature helps maintain a cleaner coop and healthier chickens by reducing the risk of disease spread.

Great design and quality, much better than what I would have DIY'ed. Replaced a treadle feeder.

Well made and very happy with large capacity. I will be able to leave chickens for a weekend and know they will have access to plenty of feed.

I have 5 of these and love them. No rodents and use half the food as other feeders

Have several of these now as my chicken habit grows - definitely the least wasteful feed containers i have found.

Like the lid, it seals nicely and only humans can open it. We mix pellets, and grain with a secret recipe of herbs and meal and initially, none of the chickens would feed from this feeder, too hard for the chickens to get to the food as it wasn't filling properly. I adapted the feeder as I had to with our original feeder (rival brand)and it was very easy to adapt, hacksawed the dividers out of the feeder which I did with a lot of difficulty with the rival feeder but very easy due to clever disassembly design of the dine a chook one (easy to clean). Now the unit works perfectly and chickens have swapped allegiance to the new feeder and don't use the old one (rival brand). I like this feeder, solid construction, thought out, dine-a-chook provided a no-nonsense prompt service. I don't know why chook feeders need dividers at the business end, all mine work better without them, maybe the feed I'm using. I hammered in a star picket and used three cable ties and it works a treat, took 45 seconds to install. Our local street gang of Telstra tower pigeons can hover in front of feeders but this one outsmarts them and the relentless generations of rats can't get in either, full marks.
