Why our Chicken Feeders are best
Unlike treadle feeders or trough-like feeders, the Dine-A-Chook Feeder does not have any moving parts. Also it is rain proof so your feed will not get wet in the rain. Of most importance, our feeder keeps the chickens out of the feed. Chickens are their own worst enemy when it comes to feed contamination! These inquisitive creatures are more than happy to hop about in the feed, spreading the dirt and fecal matter on their feet into what they are about to eat.
By keeping your birds out of their feed and keeping the rain out and the feed dry you will have a chicken feeder that is more hygienic with less attraction to rodents.
Difference between ASA and PVC plastic
Genuine Dine-A-Chook uses ASA thermoplastic. Compared to PVC, ASA is significantly more resistant to environmental stress in the outdoors. It retains its gloss and resists cracking or deterioration in the elements far better than PVC. Quality outdoor furniture uses ASA because of its strength and durability in an out-of-doors environment. When buying genuine Dine-A-Chook, you are buying the best in design as well as construction and materials.
The Dine-A-Chook style of Poultry Feeder is also known as:
Tube feeder
Silo feeder
Pipe feeder
Automatic chicken feeder
But over 50,000 backyard chicken keepers worldwide simply call Dine-A-Chook Feeders their best mate.
The Dine-A-Chook Difference
We had chickens long before we started Dine-A-Chook, and we still do! We understand the problems that backyard chicken keepers face and our goal is to provide solutions.
That is why Dine-A-Chook Chicken Feeders and Drinkers stand out from the competition: Our products have been extensively tested in Australian backyards, including our own! Our patented innovations and unique design features really work to make backyard chicken keeping easier.
We know how important good coop management is. A clean, dry coop, and uncontaminated feed and water, are essential for poultry health. Our Feeders reduce waste, keeping feed dry and off the floor. And our Waterers keep water clean and prevent spillage.
Dine-A-Chook Feeders and Drinkers are made in Australia, supporting Aussie jobs. And we use genuine Lubing Drinker Outlets from Germany because they are the best for poultry. Our products are built to last and come with an exclusive guarantee. Tested in the harsh Australian climate, don’t run over them with a tractor and we bet you won’t need to buy another Feeder or Drinker again!
As a family business, the most important thing to us is our customers. Need help with an order? Want chicken keeping advice? If you have a question about your flock, give us a call on 1800 103 326 during Queensland business hours.

I gave the chook feeders 5 stars due to the quality and the design. Its very solid, easy to use, and should keep the rain completely out. I bought these feeders after researching the best feeders, especially to avoid feeding a growing rat population. One rat was making a nest in the barrel feeder we had. I give these 5 stars tentatively as my chooks are evil little feeders and I'm still waiting for them to find a way to chuck the food on the ground. I am going to buy another feeder as we have 18 chooks and I want to get a few more days before filling up. This is in case we go away for a couple of days to cover us. I've done one with mash, one with kibble and I'll do one with bird seed as a treat. Thanks

Two large feeders means several weeks between refills for me but will also be ample for when our flock increases

Love our Dine a Chook feeder. We have a problem with mice at the moment and the feeder has not been accessed by mice at all. The chickens took to it straight away too.
