Using Scrap Booster for chickens
Mix through 1 tablespoon of Scrap Booster for every 1-2 cups of kitchen scraps or green forage. If the scraps are quite dry, add water to moisten (1-2 tablespoons).
Even with Scrap Booster, chickens should always have free access to a complete feed. Scraps should be an additional treat, fed no more than once a day. Limit scraps to as much as chickens can consume in 20 minutes and collect any uneaten food after this time. Always use a clean bowl or dish.
Scrap Booster is not recommended for use with garden waste such as weeds and clippings, as chickens will not eat the tougher parts. Use only on soft, green forage.
Chickens should always have access to fresh water and a complete feed.
