How to use EnviroSafe Fly Traps
Find a suitable location to hang the trap. The spot should be:
Outside
Away from the house or outdoor living areas
1.5-2m above the ground
In a sunny position
Sheltered from strong winds
Somewhere flies congregate (chook pens, compost heaps, rubbish bins etc)
Remove the label from inside the trap
Empty the eco-bait into the trap
Add half a cup of warm water (not hot)
Swirl to mix
Hang the trap
If the trap is drying out, you can add more water through the openings in the lid
Empty and replace the eco-bait whenever the trap fills with flies or dries out
If the traps are situated in a suitable area, smell should not be an issue. However, the traps do become smelly when they are filled with flies. If this bothers you, empty the trap more regularly.
