“Like all Sprayway gear they have reduced
the sizing down to smaller. I have a sprayway reaction jacket which is xl and if far bigger than this one. Sprayway need to go back to the old sizes.”
“I have an original from early 1990, I’ve had it taped and re waterproofed, and it looks like new still, but struggles to keep water out. Was back in the uk so bought the latest. It’s slightly shorter, the old version was nice and long, but fit, materials, pockets, hood etc are all excellent, incredibly functional and so far waterproof and warm. Coming from Australia to Holland and Glasgow in winter, up to -7c, snow and rain, it’s been great.”
“This jacket is well made and the improvements made to it from the original design are great. Sizing is interesting, the jacket is longer like the sleeves, I ordered a size above as I was worried about the layering of garments that I use when out and about. That was the right thing to do. As to its water durability I cant comment, we had no rain here for weeks. If I were to make a criticism it would be to have larger internal pockets.”
