“Incredibly elegant and lovely unlike any oud I've ever tried. I have collected mostly oud oils with as much movement and fluctuation as I could find. This is completely different and mirrors what I love so much about burning and warming agarwood. I never considered that I might find an oil similar to that experience both contemplative and enticing, clean, and zen. Perfect for layering. I imagine easily going thru an entire bottle. This one won't just sit and look pretty on my vanity. It has a mercurial subtle copper opening that blooms into the cleanest high grade morning burn. “Because I have a large collection of CO2 extracted Ouds already, and they all smell very similar, I was, at first, somewhat reluctant to try this one.
But Adam convinced me that this was an Ensar Oud creation, and therefore different and artisanal.
So I purchased it and the minute that sniffed it I realized it was in a completely different class than the others I own.
Don't get me wrong, I really like some of the best of the other CO2 ouds, but this one is simply unique and incredibly delicious. I find myself not wanting to stop sniffing and sniffing and sniffing it. I agree completely with the description that it's like the scent of ground Oud, but of such outstanding quality, with notes of incense, dark wood, and oodles of resin.
I can't imagine anyone not falling in love with this. Bravo!
