“Review of 2021 batch. Most complex and beautiful Hindi I have seen. Such a complex beast, I will try to be succinct. Opens very bitter green - neem oil (or coffee?!) kind of bitterness, but subsides to a powdery green feel that lasts a while longer. Then the barn, followed by classic fruity tartness of Indian tamarind or apricot. More barn, and some high quality Chinese leather, followed by floral nuances typical of Chinese ouds. Magic happens here with waves of Hindi-Chini alternating, just WOW. Finally dry down was completely sweet Hindi. Lasts 4-5 hours even in 40+ degree Celsius, so extrapolate. Should say 25-30% Chinese chips. Should age excellently well, hopefully loses some of that bitter top.”
