“I wanted these to work. The hook tips are too shallow for me and i find it difficult to hold onto the yarn which is a real problem for Tunisian. The wood is nice and smooth and the rare parts that aren’t are easily sanded down with fine grit paper. It was worth a shot but in the end I’m using these dismantled as shawl pins. As hooks are all related to your personal style of crocheting these might work for others, but for me they don’t.”

I'm doing the Tunisian CAL and I have to agree with you. I had to fine sand down a few yesterday which one should not have to do. As well as the shallow hook. I'm sticking with Susan Bates. That Silvalume deep hook just works so well for me. Not as long as I'd like but they work for me.
