Made a bowl of custom spicy chicken soup with the Dixie's Chicken (Not!) Strips. It had the texture of chicken which was the great worry. Our worries were soothed once we tried it. We loved it!

These are great for entrees! They are firmer than the soy curls so are better for some recipes than the soy curls. Easy to cook and even easier to eat because they are so wonderful!

I love the fact I can keep it in my cabinet and it's ready in minutes. My family eats it sauteed in olive oil, or in casseroles. It's AWESOME!!

First of all, as other reviewers have said, these are VERY bland. You need to season them. If you check out the picture of the nutritional stats fakemeats has kindly provided, you will notice the only ingredient in these is soy flour, which isn't very tasty on its own. They also have a spongy texture which is lessened if you refrigerate overnight as suggested in the cooking tips provided by fakemeats. That being said, my favorite way to prepare these is to prepare as directed using broth, refrigerate overnight, bread and fry. They turn out delicious every time and very flavorful.

First off, these are not strips but nuggets. When I bought them I did not look closer at the picture. Strips are long and narrow, nuggets are roundish and these are round nuggets. Anyways I like the other products of this brand (Ground beef is very good) but these are bland. And they don't really take on much flavor from things such as not-chicken broth. Just not a fan.
