“This jerky has great texture and consistency. The flavor is close to wonderful, but as others have mentioned, it is a bit high in salt. But I honestly appreciate that Gardein included a salty taste, as most meat jerky tends to have a salty taste, but most brands of meatless jerkies I find too sweet, pasty, and bland, without enough salt taste. If Gardein could lower the salt just a notch, this would be my favorite meatless jerky.”
“By far, the best vegan jerky as far as flavor and texture, but they seem just a bit too salty. I like the Hot & Spicy flavor overall. It is also a really small portion for the price. I also got this on sale and I still thought the price was high for the product. It seems like half of the amount that would normally be found in a bag of vegan jerky. Other brands are more affordable and reasonably good.”
