“Years ago this was a wonderful product. However, commercially harvested legumes and grains in the USA are now routinely doused with glyphosates to kill weeds & outer husks and make harvesting cheaper. Unfortunately, glyphosates also destroy all the digestive (and other) enzymes in people who ingest them. The last 2 times I tried this product, after eating several bags of this product over the course of 2 weeks, I could no longer digest any food at all. I had to spend 100's of dollars for enzyme products to get my digestion back. It's a real pity, as the product used to be excellent. I wish the maker would switch to organically grown and harvested only! We vegetarians need a wonderful product like this USED TO BE (before the advent of harvesting with glyphosates). I would be willing to pay a lot more for it.”
