This product is so versatile, soaked in a vegan bullion and then fried in a bit of oil with onions, garlic, bell peppers. You name it. It's also excellent as an addition as chicken fried rice when done in a wok and cut in yet tinier pieces. A little goes a LONG WAY!

These are delicious, and work with just about any cuisine. My advice, which echoes others', is to be sure to use highly flavored broth/sauce when cooking, otherwise they will have a somewhat watery taste. Terrific for Italian, Asian, Mexican, BBQ...

These are really tasty, as long as they're hydrated with *flavored* liquids like veggie stock, pasta sauce, carrot juice, etc. Otherwise (and I think because they're defatted), they can present as a bit cardboard-y compared to Soy Curls.

I love these, I made a big pot of homemade chikin noodle soup with these and it was delicious, my steak and potatoes husband even ate a big bowl of it!

We did not like this product. We soaked them, we tried cooking them in oil in a pan. The smell was very unappealing as well. I ended up throwing these away. I am happy i only purchased one bag and had bought the pea crumbles too which were great.

I am thrilled to have this product for gluten free vegetarian meals. One package really goes a long way. I have made some lovely Chinese style meals. such as "chicken" with hoisin sauce.
