“We love this turkey!! Okay so it's not turkey turkey but it looks like it and tastes great! My family has had this delicacy for three years running. We are vegetarians and did not want to give up the idea of a semi-traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Our non-veggie family members enjoyed it. It looks like and has the consistency of white meat turkey and I basted the turkey with sage and thyme using some of the gravy from the package. It was wonderful!!! It gave the outside that crispyness of turkey and the spices just made it taste magnificent. I bought two this year - one for Thanksgiving and one for Christmas! “Best vegan Turkey out there. I have probably tried them all, been a vegan for 30 years. When cooked properly it comes out moist and pulls apart like real turkey, with really good flavor. I use my own stuffing recipe, did not use the one it comes with, not sure on how it tastes. But like everything plant base foods, use seasonings, you will probably need a lot, they make everything taste better and healthier. There is a lot of meat here for at least 8 to 10 people. I wish the shipping wasn't so high, I would buy a few more to eat throughout the year.”
“Excellent product and really big. Easy to prepare - just add whatever spices & oil mixed in for a rich flavor. Cuts up easy, texture is nice and soft & feels good to be able to also participate in holiday celebrations. Need to add ingredients to the stuffing (I sautéed onions, celery & carrots in a frying pan, added stuffing & then transferred to the oven) & I don’t like gravy so can’t comment on that. Would definitely buy again.”
“Awesome vegan turkey! Easy to make and it comes with its own stuffing & gravy. Stuffing is a little bland, but it's easy to add some seasoning. Turkey flavor is smoky and delicious. You can slice it just like a turkey. Brings back great memories!”
“TL;DR: If you don't like DIY-ing seitan or just want something fairly easy, you could do worse. I put this in the same flavor profile as Gardein "chicken" products. Texture is quite bread-like.”
