Zinc is particularly important in winter, because it strengthens your immune system, and helps ward off colds, and nasty viruses.
They are vegan, gluten free, and the manufacturer makes a donation to charity for every product sold. Full marks for that, and for not providing a bigger dose of zinc in the tablets, which can cause stomach, and bowel issues.
However, there are a lot of similar zinc supplements on the market, and many of them contain important vitamins like vitamin c.
Despite that, you have to consider that this is a 365 day supply, and although the initial cost might seem high in comparison to other products, it is only approximately 5p a day (at the time these tablets were on offer).
I think that is definitely a price well worth paying, so they get my recommendation.”
“Style over substance. I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme. Small and easy to swallow tablets in very smart packaging. While making a big deal of the packaging's recyclability, it is however excessive and unnecessary.
While making much ado about the charitable contributions of the product, these tablets are twice the price of similar items on the Amazon site.
Zinc is a very useful supplement, particularly in these times, but you can do very much better perusing the site for better value. Style over substance in my opinion.”

There was no discernible taste.
They come in a red plastic tub and there is a safety seal that has to be taken off. I was glad to see this on the packaging.

It is lower strength than many other zinc supplements, at only 15mg, and it is vastly overpriced for what you get. You can get a year's worth of 25mg or 50mg zinc tablets for 2/3 of the price from other suppliers. And it is totally over-packaged. You get a large box made from very sturdy cardboard, inside which is a red plastic bottle, which is only half full of tablets. Nope.”
