“I used this kit to replace the rubber wrap that is on a chainsaw front wrap handle, it covered both sides of my full wrap 660 and I am happy with the results, much better than when the oem rubber starts spinning/twisting.”
“This is the second Firewrap kit I’ve purchased. The first one was on my axe handle that broke when it got wedged between the aerial sections.
That wrap performed flawlessly for over two years with no nicks, fraying or peeling. I expect the same from this wrap.
Easy to install and really good grip. The reason for 4 stars is the video they have shows a black wrap used to secure the end of the fiberglass end when wrapping the handle. That wrap isn’t included. I was able to keep pushing on it with my hand to keep it from coming undone until it set. Seems like it should be included if they think it’s helpful for the installation and they demonstrate it used. My 2 cents. Overall a good product though.”
