“I ordered the tool, forced 1 door inward, forced 1 door outward and the adz chipped and bent. I then contacted the company and the owner informed me the tool was designed for only wood doors even though on the website you can clearly witness the tool being used on metal door props. I was then informed it was my fault for using the tool on a door prop not designed for the tool and was given instruction on how to repair it myself. While I do appreciate the repair instructions, there no was no apology for the inconvenience. I assume because I was a pre order and paid less for the tool I was swept under the rug. I totally get it and I will continue to use the tool, but with that my preference leans toward a tool with less limitations.”
“So after waiting 3 years for my Halligan. I am a bit disappointed. The fire wrap is awesome. The pike end has a 1/4" flat spot on the end, so not sharp like a normal Halligan. For it's size yes it's quite heavy, but given the sledge end it's expected. Weights about as much as some of our longer Halligans so the mechanical advantage isn't great given how short it is with the same weight as a longer one. I just expected something better. This was supposed to be THE Halligan, but not so much.”
