It pains me to write this review but we were so disappointed with the Cambridge Bed. First, the instructions are terrible, leaving steps out and not easy to understand. Items were not labelled as instructions said and trying to decipher the writing on the couple of boards that were labelled was not easy either. Secondly, one of the boards at the foot of the bed was warped/twisted and therefore very hard to place in the slot where it was supposed to slide in. Thirdly, the main structureof the bed did NOT fit neatly together therefore, leaving smal, but noticeable gaps. FOURTHLY, the slats did NOT fit across the base of the bed. They were 4 inches short!! Sadly, we now need to start a return and hopefully get our money back.

The craftsmanship was very high quality and the assembly of the frame was quick and easy, though it does require a drill as noted in the instructions. like the asethetic and the feel of the bed, it is much more solid than our previous metal frame. When one of us gets in or out of bed, the only thing that moves at all is the mattress itself. We are very happy with the A few small things keep this from being a 5-star review but will not deter me from recommending Get Laid to others. First the assembly could have been made easier by either specifying the distance between the slats or having some way of ensuring the separation was the proper distatance. Because there were no design features or indicators to help align the slats it took a while to get them installed properly. Second, the finish on our bed was off-gassing for the first few days and was particularly strong on the first night. We could have aired it out in our basement before hand and it went away quickly. The finish seems very even and very hard, almost plasitic-y, but it seems like it will prove very durable.
