“Hello! I wanted to follow up with my experiences with this bed and complete my review. 1. I finally did find the small pre-drilled holes on the end boards. I was not expecting to find holes in the nice, stained, exterior, side of the end board. The holes are not even counter-sunk with a plug for aesthetics. A small arrow on your simple diagram of the end board would have saved me days of frustration! Who would have thought that these holes went all the way through and were so small you could not find them 2. I was expecting a solid headboard. I got three boards that are pieced together. These boards also did not come together tight enough to cover the biscuits. Headboard placement took two people and was a precarious delicate procedure given the cheap biscuits and fit of the boards. 3. I did some of the assembly by myself with one good arm. So I want to tell you that you might want to attach the headboard brackets to the bed before you attach the side rails. Common sense. This way you don't have to lie on your back with a drill and attach brackets. good grief 4. Consider the ergonomics of this assembly and add a few more words to your instructions. 5. I would not buy this bed again. That is your final review. I am not even sure it will hold up over time. 6. My pictures are in my phone and when I figure out how to send them to an email I will. Thanks for listening. Also, the stain on the front board of the drawer I purchased does not match the bed stain color at all. Was it supposed to? The bed assembly was also interesting and the bottom slats could use a few more hints written on them.”
