“I’m extremely disappointed with G.H. Bass. The size guide on their website is completely inaccurate, which led me to buy shoes that don’t fit. I already paid €45 for tracked return shipping from Switzerland. Now, due to the company’s inadequate logistics processes and missing documentation, Belgian customs (bpost) is demanding an additional €100 to process the return. This means I’m losing €150—almost the full price of the shoes—just to return a product that doesn’t fit because of their mistake. It’s a complete nightmare. If you’re ordering from outside the EU, definitely stay away!”
We’re sorry to hear about your experience. As outlined in our returns policy, returns from Switzerland are the responsibility of the customer, including arranging the shipment and ensuring the correct customs documentation is provided.
All required return paperwork should be supplied by the courier or shipping provider chosen for the return. Unfortunately, if the correct documentation is not included with the parcel, customs authorities may apply additional import or processing charges, which are outside of our control.

“Such gorgeous, high quality and comfy loafers! I read loads of reviews and did the online fit guide (twice) which suggested that I would need a 5.5 but I ordered a 5, my usual size, as well to be sure and the 5 is perfect (the 5.5 was definitely too loose on me). They fit snugly like a glove and I have worn them with and without socks and they haven’t rubbed at all. They have such a beautiful shape and are an elegant, chic classic. Highly recommend!”
“The shoes are beautiful. It seemed that the pair I received was stretched and or used slightly before being sent (the paper used to stuff the toes were removed but still in box and the tissue paper was torn.) there were a few blemishes on the leather and an imperfection in the seam at the toe but that could have been manufacturing related.”
