I found however, during my pregnancy as well as newly postpartum that when a doctor gives you clearance, trainers unless certified in understanding the dynamics of the human body while pregnant/postpartum have the potential to cause significant harm. I fell victim to putting stress and strain on my already weakened core when I was newly postpartum making my recovery months longer. This course was phenomenal. From the mechanics of movement, safety, anatomy and physiology to the signs and symptoms to watch for of a potential weakening/ diastasis recti.
