“I simply love these boots/sneakers/whatever they are supposed to be called. I saw Weston's video and decided to take a chance on them, as I had never heard of Goral before. I used his sizing guide and went a whole size up from my Brannock sizing and I needed every bit of that. I have wide feet with a bunion on my left foot that can make sizing terrible. But going up the whole size from the Brannock was just right. I was really worried about the sizing as they are coming "across the pond" and I figured returns might cost a fortune. But all of that wound up being unnecessary worry.
I've had these shoes a little over two weeks now and I've worn them almost every day. They are very comfortable, one of the most comfy shoes in my collection. I thought the shearling lining would melt my feet if I weren't in the snow, but really, it's not overly hot at all. Actually very comfortable to wear all day. Now, I did remove the shearling insole and used the optional leather replacement that ships in the box (I'll use the shearling insole when it actually DOES snow here), and that gave me a tad more room. I actually love the padding that the shearling gives me. It's maybe the only shoe I have that doesn't hurt my bunion because it's nice and padded with very soft shearling! I love that! Keeps my feet warm without being hot? Check! Provides nice soft padding for my bunion and doesn't hurt? Double check!
The leather is high quality to be sure. The toes and heels are chromexcel leather, while the center of the shoe is like bomber jacket leather and they go great together. The leather in the middle is nice and soft and immediately feel "broken in". Bonus
One thing that I'm very impressed with is the overall finish. Everything is spot on, very high quality. No loose threads, no wonky stitching, and no blemishes on the leather. Everything is just top quality. I have absolutely been looking at the site to figure out which is my next purchase because I do want a top-quality pair of sneakers for the spring/summer.”
