“I had high expectations for this pair of boots after receiving my last pair of Gorals (Muggs 2.0). I'll admit that I am often disappointed with my more-expensive purchases. After all, in an age where D2C brands such as Beckett Simonon or Thursday exists, luxury shoemakers have to do more to justify literally twice the price, and it can be difficult to differentiate.
But man I am so impressed with these boots. They're a work of art. The leather is stiff, yet immediately comfortable. The gum sole is trendy, but somehow classic at the same time. They have an understated quality that is invisible to most, but immediately obvious to anyone who knows.
I just love them. The're already up there with my favorite shoes of all time. I want another pair, but I really need to stop.”
