Dunoon Puffins Cairngorm Shape Mug That offshore bird, the coastal puffin is painted in gorgeous detail by artist Caroline Bessey. Shown in profile and depicted in pairs, with grey and black wings and bright orange beak and feet, these iconic birds surround the mug, with little flecks of blue paint decorating a crisp white background. It makes a lovely mug for a twitcher or anyone who loves the coast and birdwatching! Cairngorm The 'Cairngorm' shape, named after the eponymous Scottish Mountains, is a larger version of the Lomond shape mugs. It has a gentle slope to the body and a curved handle. With a range of fabulous designs to choose from this 'oversized' mug is a must. With a capacity of 480ml they are both dishwasher and microwave safe, with the exception of any mugs with gold embellishment. Caroline Bessey Caroline Bessey was born in Wigan, Lancashire and studied art, further specialising in ceramics at Lancashire Polytechnic, gaining a distinction award in 1986. Caroline is inspired by current trends and styles and has worked for Dunoon since 1987 and, although she is devoted to designing fabulous coffee and tea mugs, Caroline does not drink either of them!
