This design depicts a hare sat amongst a meadow of poppy flowers and daisies. The hare is sat up on its hind legs, with its head tilted and ears askew. The beautiful red poppies and white daises around the animal add a colourful touch to the design. At the top of the front cover is the text ‘Notebook’ in a cursive grey font. The illustration is painted in the soft watercolour style of artist, Hannah Dale, depicted with intricate detail and surrounding the illustration are speckles of black paint, in a way that is synonymous with the Wrendale brand. The back cover features the same cute hare, just without the flowers. Inside are roughly lined pages with the same illustration as the front of the notebook, in black and white, in the bottom right-hand corner. Both the inside front and back covers have a pattern of countryside designs such as hares, poppies, ladybugs and bumblebees.
