This design depicts a trio of owls, perched on a branch with their young feathers fluffed up and their eyes bright with personality. The owls are covered in gorgeous feathers with combinations of cream, grey and brown colourings. At the top of the front cover is the text ‘Notebook’ in a cursive white font. The illustration is painted in the soft watercolour style of artist, Hannah Dale, depicted with intricate detail and surrounding the illustration are speckles of black paint, in a way that is synonymous with the Wrendale brand. The back cover features a happy young owlet being looked after by a parent. Inside are roughly lined pages with the same illustration as the back of the notebook, in black and white, in the bottom right-hand corner. Both the inside front and back covers have a pattern of countryside designs of owls and owlets. This hardback notebook is finished with an elasticated closure to keep the book secure when not in use and the thick card covers protect it from damage.
