Wrendale Designs 10.7 Inch Mouse Pie Dish This lovely pie dish from Royal Worcester is part of the Portmeirion Wrendale Collection and features a field mouse which appears to have climbed up a blackberry plant for a spot of lunch. With every brush stroke visible, thanks to the watercolour style painting that Wrendale are known for, he is illustrated in soft browns and fawns and surrounded with gentle speckling which features throughout the series. Around the edge of the dish, printed on the rim are smaller illustrations of green leaves and juicy blackberries, amid the same speckling detail as the interior. The dish measures 10.7 inches and is perfect for savoury pies, desserts and even could be used as a nibble or fruit bow! It is dishwasher, microwave, oven and freezer safe making it ideal for everyday use. It would make a really special gift for friends and family alike. Whether it’s for a birthday, Christmas or just simply as a treat, this lovely piece is sure to be enjoyed by animal lovers and fans of Wrendale’s countryside style designs. Wrendale Designs for Royal Worcester This series of fine bone china mugs alongside matching kitchen accessories is manufactured by Royal Worcester and features endearing portraits of wildlife from the British countryside. Each image is delicately delineated with the soft brushwork and subtle colours which are trademarks of Hannah Dale’s style. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her.

As an avid pie baker I am always on the hunt for a pie dish that is both unique and also beautiful in design. I have found both in this high quality, heavy duty deep dish pie plate. The blackberries on the edge of the dish are perfect for the area I live in where blackberrys grow wild and plentiful. It will be treasured.
