“I put the recommended 3000A Grip Studs in my SIMM’s G3 wading boots. The traction is excellent. I have put Grip Studs on all my wading boots. These are the best studs I have ever used. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wade fishes.”
“I have used Grip Studs on a vairety of wading boots. They are the best wearing, and best-performing wading boot studs available. Secure installation and great traction.”
“I first purchased the 3000A Grip Studs 3 years ago and put them in the soles of my Bogs winter mid-calf boots for dedicated wear to snow blow the driveway, walk the dog or take the recycling down the icy driveway in the winter. They have performed admirably and I can say that fortunately I have not slipped once. As the carbide tips now show moderate wear after 3 winters, I just re-ordered a set of Aggressive studs (4.4mm protrusion) as they are now available from Grip Studs website and sound even more suitable to Minnesota's icy driveways and walkways than the Medium Grip Studs. Thanks, Bryan. I highly recommend their use.”
“Due to chronic plantar fasciitis (heel spurs) I have to use a certain, very cushioned hiking boot made by Gravity Defyer as a wading boot. These boots have fairly soft rubber soles and the heel has a special cushion underneath. The studs were fairly easy to install, but on the first fishing trip several came out and most others became so deeply embedded into the sole that only 1-2 mm of the stud protruded. I removed those that were left and will try them on another firmer-soled boot later.”
