I have not yet been able to test them out in a stream (it will be about a week before that happens), but based on the reviews from the Troutbitten crew and what I have personally seen so far, I expect to be very satisfied. I'll update my review if that is not the case. What I can say for sure so far is that: (1) I used the manual installation tool and found it straightfoward and effective and (2) the studs themselves arrived in perfect condition.”

“The function was there but the quality and ergonomics of the tool feel short. Also, the quality of the fit and craftsmanship of the handle receiving the tool end was not on point. shank was oversized and the female part was undersized. Not sure now that the insert will ever be able to removed from handle.”
