“I was very happy to find a UK stockist for the Earth Runner Laces as mine have become really grubby. The laces were easy to replace. They are the performance laces and the Earth Runners team advises they are not designed for everyday comfort but I haven't had any discomfort and didn't need to 'break them in'. I took them for a run and they do seem to be more supportive than the lifestyle laces I had. Also, the 'khaki' colour is very pretty and versatile to go with different outfits as the green outline is more subdued and neutral.
One thing I will note is that I had an older version of the Alpha Sandal and I can see that Earth Runners have changed the size of the copper plug since (which they indicate on their website) and I think the laces I purchased on here are for the newer models. As a result, the copper plug is slightly bigger than the hole on the bottom of my sandal. I managed to push it in and I hope that with more use the rubber will stretch and give in more to accommodate it as, at the moment, I can still feel a slight 'lump' in that area when wearing the sandal.
It might be useful to add the fact that these are made with the 'New Plug' to the decription of the product.”
