“This is the first pair of Airtubes I have owned so can't really compare. i have wanted some for a long time. I only bought these because they were cheap and took my order over the free p&p so it was a wise investment.
Happy to have them though the quality is not great. I am not looking for amazing sound and don't use headphones all that frequently. These will do the job when I need them and they are fine for meetings and listening to podcasts, just not worth it for listening to music.”

“Update to review (13-03-2023)
After two weeks of normal use, a short has developed in the wire on one side of the air tubes, between the speaker and control module. I am seeking a refund and will be trying another brand of air tubes.
Initial review:
These are, of course, a bit different than traditional earbuds, as the speaker is not directly in the ear. The sound is slightly different, can sound a bit "hollow," at first, but one quickly adjusts and does not notice. I have used these for phone conversations as well as listening to podcasts, with no trouble. The microphone works well and people do not have trouble understanding me. I do find I have to turn the volume up higher than usual to hear well enough. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because there is only one ear piece option (which comes in three sizes). It fits in the ear canal quite closely and can "seal off" the ear canal. This makes hearing through them easier, but can be uncomfortable and cause a bit of ear pressure. They can be placed a bit loose so as not to cause pressure, but they fall out of the ear easier. I would like this product to come with two ear piece options, including a small, soft spongy disc that resembles regular ear buds (in multiple sizes also) and does not fit inside the ear canal but fits snugly further out in the ear.”
