“Some of the Music was not what we come to expect from Group VBS. Imagination station was not plug and play it took lots of work and tweaks to make it work for our kids. We did not buy the buddies, they seemed to not be completely done like previous years. Sub par to what their cost for the Buddies and the product we recieve. The overall theme was excellent. Kids love to learn about space.”

“Stellar overall was on target with the Bible stories and Bible points. Some of the Bible verses related well to the lesson/point and some not so much. We have our VBS in the evening which presents several challenages that daytime VBS do not have to deal with. Due to the limited time and the kids reaching their limit at the end of their day, we modify many of the activites. Therefore, my only suggestion would be to simplify the activity stations. Other than the opening/closing and Bible Adventure, we do our own games, crafts, and a 15/20 minute individual group time that leaders review the Bible point, verse, mission project and God Sightings. Because it is in the evening, we have prepared/packaged snacks that the kids take home. This allows the parent to make the decision about when they would like their child to have the snack. Also, it would be nice to purcahse the digital format since we do not have a need for the items that are included in the Starter Kit. I will continue to use Group VBS because of the themes, online help, VBSPro, and it can be modified. Thanks Group!!!”

“We love Groups easy VBS. Although we do not exactly follow the system and curiculum it is easy to adapt to our larger grew and grade divided structure. The points are Bible Based and always rooted in God's truths.”

“Stellar was a little light on what is relevant to kids today. The Bible themes were a little light. We are hungry for high impact materials and Group seems to be slipping a little in that. Imagination Station leaders stated that the materials that come for the station can be completed in 5 minutes, so it was up to them to find other activities to make up the rest of the time. Music was not as impactful as in the past. We had to come up with our own snack ideas. We are using a different publisher this year.”

“We love all Group VBS's! I did notice at Stellar that there didn't seem to be as much "Bible" focus. I am writing in my own intros of the Bible Story into the openings and reviews in the closings. It seemed to be more focused on the theme. I don't do the Group closing because it's SO involved and the kids don't get into as much. The crafts seemed to have little, if any, Bible references in them so we add that too. I've seen a lot of changes for the 2024 VBS that addresses this, so I'm super excited. All that being said, we LOVE LOVE LOVE Group VBS. Our kids, community, teachers, leaders, and volunteers all love it too. Keep up the great ministry!”
