“Here at Resurrection UMC in Hastings, MN, we always choose to use the Group VBS. There is never any concern about the theology, the storytelling, the videos, the missions, and so on. The product is so far ahead of everything else on the market - it amazes me! Yes, you do pay more for Group's VBS, but it is SO WORTH IT! Just the quality of the videos alone makes it a bargain. I use the VBS music videos every Sunday morning as our worship music - and the kids love it! This is a high quality product year after year. Ihave leaders that will not volunteer if it's not a Group VBS! My only comment regarding Stellar is there was some disappointment in the snacks - my snack crew "jazzed up" some of the recommendations - but that would be my only criticism. Thank you for producing such a great product!”

“Stellar VBS was a drop in quality from other Group VBS curriculums. I have helped run over 5 VBS camps using Group's curriculum, including over the COVID pandemic. Stellar VBS was not only very lackluster but there was a big drop in quality overall. Crafts were uninspired or boring, snacks were hardly up to par, and even the lesson plans were not as interesting. I had multiple leaders say they were not as happy with the curriculum for Stellar VBS.”

“We have about 100 adults, teens, and children who participate in VBS every year. It is a wonderful intergenerational event that enriches all of us who are preparing ahead of time as well as those who are there for the week. Group integrates the music, lessons, and activities which makes it an easy program to implement for newbies and seasoned alike. Stellar led us to shine our lights in a fun and meaningful way. “As a first year Children’s Ministry Director, I could not have asked for a better program for VBS. The way Group listens to feedback and applies it to their curriculums and programs makes it easy to jump on in as a newbie. I felt very prepared with everything that came with/in the Stellar VBS kit and knew if I had questions, the answer was an email or call away. The Group team was fast and thorough with their support - so grateful for them!”

“Stellar VBS went well. Creative and fun activities hooked kids and helped them remember the Bible points and the Bible stories. The digital format is user friendly and very helpful. The Imagination Station activites were fun but some did not work as well as we hoped such as the dissappering coin ( many broke when right out of the package) and the waterbottle rockets were challenging. The music was slighly improved from last year but still not kid friendly. The hymns are NOT understood by kids even if you rearrange the song. The overall song choice is just not what resinates with kids. It would be great if the songs were more like the contemporary Christian music they hear so when they hear it on the radio there is a connection later in life.”

“We have chosen Group for many years now. We love the program. It is thorough and well planned. The music is nice and upbeat, which the kids love. The staff’s kindness and willingness to help when needed is much appreciated. However, it is very expensive. The songs are repeated more often than we would like, and the CD is not as user friendly as I would want. I would love to be able to edit and print from the disc. It does not allow me the individual flexibility I would like. Overall, we are all very pleased and hope we can continue using Group with some of these issues resolved.”
